The usage of natural refrigerants provides immense benefits for the ecosystem that includes raw material suppliers to end users. With the F-gas regulations, the natural refrigerants are the preferred refrigerants which have zero or less GWP and ozone depletion. Among all the natural refrigerants, ammonia is the environmental compatible and has zero effect on ozone depletion and global warming.
For the cost effective refrigeration, natural refrigerant like ammonia is the best inexpensive refrigerant to be used. When compared with the man-made synthetic refrigerants, the natural refrigerants are less expensive since most of these are available naturally and are by products of industrial process. Increasing popularity of natural refrigerants will also reflect on the refrigeration oil market especially POE refrigeration oil owing to its compatibility with most of the natural refrigerants.
